1. What Is Towing?
Towing is the process of transport or hauling of Cars, Trucks, Trailers, Semis, SUVs, and Heavy Equipment. It consists of coupling two or more together; typically using a tow truck to move objects that cannot or will no longer move by themselves.

2. What Towing Methods Are Used?
1. Flatbed Towing
Utilizes a tow truck with a flat, horizontal deck where the object is loaded/strapped securely on the platform. It is great for transporting things over long distances, especially those that are heavily wrecked or luxurious models, as it keeps the goods completely off the ground
2. Wheel-Lift Towing
Wheel-lift involves hydraulics that raise one end of the vehicle off the ground, enabling the other end to trail behind. It is common for light-duty vehicles and quick pickups.
3. Tow Dolly
A tow dolly lifts the front end of the towed vehicle while the rear end remains on the ground. This method is suitable for medium to extended transport and requires the towing vehicle to be equipped with a hitch.
4. Sling Towing
The sling towing option uses straps and/or chains to raise a vehicle partially off and away from the ground. It is generally used for heavily wrecked vehicles or those that cannot be towed using regular methods.

3. When Do You Need Towing?
Towing is reserved and mostly utilized to move vehicles and equipment that are wrecked or no longer mobile. Towing is an ideal solution when you have vehicles or equipment that need to be transported but don't run or no longer have the ability to be operated and moved.

4. Can I Be Present During Towing?
Although you are able to be present for the duration of the towing operation. It is not required. All tows and the requirements will differ each job. ex. (Winching a car VS Accident Recovery, Weather Conditions, Location Etc.) In most cases, it is up to the drivers discrection if they choose to be present for the tow.

5. What Is Towing Capacity?
Towing capacity refers to the maximum weight/load a tow truck is safely able to operate and carry out various tasks. It is important to identify this capacity to ensure the proper tow truck is dispatched as the towing capacity is calculated and adjusted based off the GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) and GCWR (Gross Combined Weight Rating) therefore the requirements for towing will vary.

6. What Are The Weight Classifications?
